SARA/EPCRA Section 311/312
GBMc & Associates provides strategic consulting services to industrial clients to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Section 311/312, also referred to as Tier II reporting. Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) – also known as Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA), contains requirements within Section 311 and 312 to report hazardous chemical inventories. EPCRA Section 312 requires chemical inventories at a facility to be developed and regulated chemicals present above reportable quantities be included with supplemental information in an annual report to the appropriate state and local agencies (State Emergency Response Commission, Local Emergency Planning Committee, and Local Fire Departments as required). EPCRA Section 311 is a one-time report that requires safety data sheets for the same chemicals reported under Section 312 to be submitted to the appropriate state and local agencies.
Our team provides 3rd party chemical inventory audits/assessments to help verify the types and quantities of chemicals stored onsite to ensure accuracy and completeness of the Tier II reporting evaluations.
Our team provides inventory tracking solutions that are customized to each facility or corporations tracking multiple locations.
Our team of biologists, engineers, and environmental scientists work with each individual facility on a holistic permitting approach across all environmental regulatory programs.
Whether you need a full on-site verification of your chemical inventories or assistance in developing your Tier II report in your state specific format, we ensure that every report is complete and accurate.
